When I was young, I thought you needed to know just about everything to produce good writing. I don’t know if knowing a little about the evolution of cuttlefish or a smidge about China Africa trade relations makes my writing any better, but being open finding the weird nuances has always given me a good place to start.

I’m happiest when I’m learning new things, when my room is toasty, and when I can talk someone’s ears off about the importance of rail infrastructure.
